Must Haves:
- 5 – 10 years in an architect capacity with experience in designing, roadmap, and proof-of-concepts.
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Server Technologies (MS Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365, Sharepoint, Email Security Practices, Active Directory, SQL, Windows PowerShell)
- MCP, MCSE, CompTIA & CCNA certified.
- Strong experience in virtualization software such as VMware ESXi (VMware)
- Proven expertise in cloud services – AWS and Azure Cloud administration
- Automation and scripting with PowerShell
- Advanced knowledge of networking, firewalls Wintel servers, switches, GPO, VPN, SIPs, DID, DNS
- Knowledge of Fault Tolerant Architecture Design and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity plans is an asset.
- Knowledge in Cyber Security and compliance an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and design of architecture in collaboration with project implementation activities.
- Maintain and support company’s existing IT network infrastructure & phone system
- Maintain cloud environment by identifying system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance.
- Administer windows servers, clients, AD, Office365, Applications, Phone systems & cloud services
- Collaborate with vendors and 3rd parties on projects involving digital signage implementations.
- Perform backups and recovery operations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting skills and assistance to end users, liaise with application vendors support when necessary.
- Provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk and champion the proper use of tools and knowledge share/mentor other team members.
- Create & update documentation of knowledge base, standard processes and procedures.
