Job Description
Will work in a 24×7 Operation Center environment performing a wide variety of tasks to include:
1) Problem troubleshooting and resolution, including interaction with site contacts, carriers, vendors, and various departments in both KDDIA and KDDI Japan.
2) Ensure tickets and monitoring alerts are handled per pre-defined SLA’s for response time, updates and closure.
3) Provide periodical updates to customers and various internal departments.
4) Resolve critical system issues on a 24×7 basis, including notification, coordination and dispatch of individuals from various functional groups and providers.
5) Perform internal system maintenance activity.
6) Monitor the status and performance of KDDIA’s services and facilities.
7) Handing remote hand requests from related party.
8) Perform KDDI related site inspection.
9) Primary location for this job is listed in the above. However depend on the project status, other location in Plano, TX area will be assigned temporarily.
Qualification / Requirement
1) Has basic understanding of Networking and IT infrastructure.
2) Clear communicator both written and verbal.
3) Capable of multi-tasking, time management and prioritization of workload.
4) Ability to assess faults, priorities, respond and escalate accordingly.
5) Willing to learn and develop new skills.
6) Co-operate with teammates and other departments.
7) Always think “Customer first”.
8) CCNA, CCNP are preferred.
Working hours
24/7 Shift rotation (7:00-19:00 / 19:00-7:00 CT) include weekends and holidays.
