Overview of The Role

The IT Specialist, Enterprise Applications – Finance is responsible for defining, delivering, and supporting IT solutions to meet evolving business needs of the global Finance function at Saputo. Although there are many applications in use, the solutions are primarily built on a global SAP ERP platform. As such, this opportunity is for an individual with strong functional skills in SAP Finance modules & solutions.

Key responsibilities for the role include (but are not limited to) the definition, estimating and planning of IT solutions based on business requirements, the delivery (design, build, test and stabilization) of IT solutions in collaboration with other teams and in line with Saputo’s IT delivery methodology, the management of change required to drive successful adoption of proposed solutions and finally the support and continuous improvement of solutions used by the finance line of business.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

Strong business acumen to work with finance business users and interpret business requirements into solutions with a focus on SAP technologies.
Assist with the end-to-end design of a scalable architecture that supports efficient creation of solutions.
Preparation and facilitation of design workshops with documented outcomes (requirements, design, data models).
Contributes to the solution definition, work effort estimate and planning when building new or enhanced solutions on the SAP platform.
Work in direct interaction with business SMEs and other IT teams (e.g., Infra, Dev, BI, Security) to design and implement sustainable solutions.
Write and review functional specifications in accordance with standards, governance and best practices.
Configure SAP Finance modules to meet business requirements.
Develop test scripts, execute tests and document results to confirm functionality.
Coordinate the delivery of IT change requests across the system landscape in collaboration with the Release Management team.
Support training material preparation and training of key-users.
Support data conversion and data maintenance activities.
Provide end user support to stabilize new changes deployed.
Drive successful adoption of proposed solutions.
Provide level 3 end user support to accounting function users globally.
Own incident resolution and day to day sustainment of finance applications.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and leading practices with applications used by Finance line of business;
Identify solution improvement opportunities and leverage leading practices to continually enhance business value and benefits from IT enablement.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

8+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering SAP Finance solutions.
Strong design and configuration experience in SAP Finance and integration to other modules.
Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & language.
Ability to work independently ensuring alignment to our IT strategy.
Ability to coach and mentor other team members.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide updates to leadership; adept at building relationships with IT peers as well as business end users.
Solid experience with BI technologies such SAP Analysis for Office (AO) and Microsoft PowerBI.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite;
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business or another related field.
Bilingual – English and French
Preferred: Fluent in Spanish.
Preferred: Accounting designation.
Preferred: Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
Preferred: Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum (e.g. PMP Certified- PMI).
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
