Job Description
TITLE: IT Support Specialist
REPORTS TO: IT Operations Manager
JOB GOAL: Administer timely and efficient support over the phone, remotely and to
computer systems at the elementary school level via the Helpdesk, as
well as onsite assistance while providing a professional customer service
experience.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide phone, remote desktop, and onsite support as needed
- Maintain helpdesk ticketing system
- Perform updates and maintenance of administrative and support software
- Perform routine hardware maintenance / repair of desktop and laptop computers
- Replace computer hardware as needed
- Keep up to date inventory of hardware and static IP addresses
- May be required to perform evening maintenance or work additional hours as needed
- Deploy, manage, and update tablet software and hardware
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in computer maintenance and repair
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and customer service skills
- Ability to work either independently or as a team
- Certifications (hardware, software, networking) preferred
- Experience with Google Apps for Business/Education a plus
- Minimum 1 years experience in the field preferred
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month year – Salary Per Agreement
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated by the Business Manager
and IT Operations Manager
