Job Description
- Manage and coordinate all IS (IT) activities related to Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures, ensuring seamless integration and transition of IT systems and processes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for IS integration and divestiture, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Align with internal and external business leaders on all IT aspects and requirements to ensure smooth integration within scope and on budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including upper management, to ensure successful execution of M&A and divestiture projects.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial prudence in all related IS activities.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, providing updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in M&A and divestiture and apply this knowledge to improve IS processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Business level Japanese & English language ability
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization globally.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and systems integration.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adequate knowledge of M&A processes.
