Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Project Senior Consultant at our San Ramon, CA location to be responsible for all activities and phases to run successful projects in the IT organization, in teams and units within the IT Organization or as part of larger and corporate-wide projects and programs.
Expectations and Tasks:
Ensure the successful completion of projects and programs within given constraints such as time, cost and resources. Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects or areas of responsibility. Works on large, complex activities, using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality. Contributes independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects). Works independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility. Provides regular project status and updates. Provides decisions/solutions which can enhance essentially current and future design and strategy. Enhance complex systems & processes.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field and 6 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve at least 4 years in the following:
• Project management including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methods, risk management processes using RACI matrix and risk analysis;
• ICT Operations including cloud platforms and technologies and public cloud solutions;
• Quality Management including Indicators reporting, Management systems, Excellence Programs, and Quality Tools;
• Resource management including Microsoft Project, Share Point, and project charters;
• ITIL v2 or v3 including Service Operations INM, PRM, or CHM; and
• Microsoft PowerBI and Excel.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $149,094.00 – $242,176.00. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $161,900.00 – $275,200.00 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
