Put your expertise in the spotlight 

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the success of the IT projects assigned to you. Reporting to the IT Project Portfolio and Budget Manager, you will ensure that all these projects meet the quality, budget and schedule requirements for each stage. You will also be responsible for leading and motivating your team. 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

– Contribute to the business case, consolidate the definition of objectives and deliverables, and develop change adoption strategies. 

– Plan, direct and control IT project activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets and quality standards. 

– Coordinate specialists, support staff and subcontractors, taking into account the operational constraints of business sectors. 

– Proactively identify risks and problems, and implement solutions to mitigate them. 

– Carry out project reviews and manage the transition to the operational sector. 

– Develop and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of project objectives. 

– Use modern, collaborative project management tools to improve transparency and teamwork efficiency. 

– Encourage and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team. 

 

You possess the following professional and technical skills: 

– 7 years’ relevant experience in information technology, including at least 4 years as an IT applications and infrastructure project manager 

– University degree in IT or related field, an asset 

– PMP or Agile certification, an asset 

– Mastery of the latest cloud technologies and platforms. 

– Understanding of IT security and data protection principles. 

– Excellent understanding of development methodologies, including Agile. 

– Knowledge of portfolio and project management tools (EPM-type tools), an asset. 

– Fluency in French and English 

 – Ability to express oneself clearly and intelligibly, both in writing and orally, to exchange ideas fluidly with colleagues and customers. 

– Ability to listen attentively and understand the needs and concerns of others, which is essential for problem-solving and decision-making. 

– Ability to put oneself in other people’s shoes, understanding their emotions and perspectives, which fosters better collaboration and a healthy work environment. 

– Ability to adjust quickly to change and remain effective in a changing environment. 

– Ability to collaborate with others, share responsibilities and contribute to the achievement of common goals. 

– Ability to identify and resolve disagreements constructively, avoiding escalation of tensions. 

– Ability to analyze situations objectively, evaluate different options and make informed decisions. 

– Ability to inspire and guide team members towards achieving project objectives. 

– Ability to understand and learn the company’s various business sectors.
