JOB SUMMARY
As an IT Network Analyst within the IT Architecture and Security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our organization’s IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to analyze, design, implement, and maintain robust IT solutions aligned with our business objectives and security standards.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments of IT systems and processes, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users, troubleshoot IT issues, and offer timely solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and compliance to understand requirements, address challenges, and deliver effective IT solutions.
  4. Endpoint Security: Implement and manage advanced persistent threat (APT) endpoint security solutions to detect and mitigate sophisticated cyber threats targeting endpoints across the organization.
  5. Firewall Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls to enforce network security policies, control traffic, and prevent unauthorized access to our network infrastructure.
  6. Multi-Cloud Connectivity: Design and implement secure connectivity solutions for multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration, data protection, and compliance with security best practices.
  7. Network Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize network monitoring tools to continuously monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and investigate potential security incidents to proactively identify and mitigate threats.
  8. Incident Response: Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures to prevent future occurrences.
  9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident response procedures, and generate reports to communicate network security status and metrics to stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Analyst or similar role, with a focus on IT architecture and security.
  • Experience with advanced persistent threat (APT) endpoint security solutions, such as CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, or Symantec.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including network connectivity, security controls, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Splunk.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are desirable.
