Fluxus Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Manager who will provide all levels of corporate IT support and management for a life sciences company of approximately 50 employees. As the sole IT support for the company, your duties will include:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships and billing for ISPs, cybersecurity, software subscriptions and IT hardware.
- Responsible for the design and function of internet services, networking, Wi-Fi and VPN.
- Manage and maintain onsite servers and NAS devices.
- Manage, maintain and support end user’s laptops, lab PCs and printers.
- Manage the Fluxus Microsoft 365 tenant, including user/group management, SharePoint and One Drive.
- Manage other Fluxus cloud services as well as onsite services including Solidworks PDM and Ubiquiti Wi-Fi controller.
- Manage cloud to cloud backups and onsite NAS backups.
- Responsible for procuring hardware and software as needed to support the environment.
- Work closely with the software team and other departments to support and meet their needs.
- Support and drive IT initiatives to meet the growing needs of the company.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an IT generalist working in companies as sole support or as part of a small team.
- 3-5 years of experience working as IT Manager or Sysadmin in companies with fewer than 100 employees.
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to support user issues and interface with senior and executive management.
