Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join Hyundai MOBIS IT team. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our technology systems, supporting our business goals and objectives. This role will work MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe).
ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC
MOBIS North America electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are vital parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Design and Implementation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections.
- Deploy and manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates.
- Plan and execute infrastructure expansion or upgrades to accommodate company growth.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor the performance and availability of network devices, servers, and applications to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as patch management, firmware updates, and security audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly to minimize downtime.
- Manage system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and data encryption.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or ISO 27001.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to protect the company’s infrastructure and data.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Prepare reports on system performance, security incidents, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and cost optimization in the IT infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security principles.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing server infrastructure, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with enterprise-level storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bilingual speaker (English and Korean) is a plus.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role in a corporate environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
Locations:
This position is open for both PE Plant (Richmond Hill, GA) & BSA Plant (Ellabell, GA) Locations.
Working Conditions: Office setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings, and occasional travel to off-site meetings
