Pride Group Logistics has a new opportunity for 1 IT Helpdesk Support Rep to join our Team at our location in Mississauga. This is a full-time position with steady year-round work. Training will be provided to the selected candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end users in person, through phone, email, and remote applications
  • Trouble shoot desktop computers, Laptops, Printers, Cell Phones, Desk Phones and network connectivity issues
  • Physically install and deploy new equipment for new users
  • Assist end users in their use of applications such as Microsoft Office, email systems, TMS, Accounting Software and others
  • Maintain and monitor security of devices, install and manage antiviruses; and perform regular backup and restore
  • Manage IT Inventory of equipment’s and licenses; maintain accurate documentation of client networks, resolved issues, and client information.
  • General support as required by the IT Manager

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

  • A diploma/degree from a recognized post-secondary program in computer technology.
  • Previous experience in a Help Desk support/Analyst role is preferred.
  • Certifications like A+ will be an asset
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Services; Windows operating systems, Imaging computers, Office365; Network (LAN/WAN) concepts, VPN technologies, firewalls, and security; Mobile Technologies (Smartphones/Tablets), and Printers required.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL.
  • Ability and willingness to work after hours
  • Must have access to a vehicle and willing to travel to branch offices as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Team player and strong work ethics
  • Take ownership of support requests until resolution and ensure requests are resolved in a timely manner
  • Multi-task and manage a variety of diverse requests from a variety of users and levels
