We are seeking motivated individual to join our dynamic, diverse team in the role of IT Hardware and Support Manager for our, Scoudouc, NB location. This position will also require the successful candidate to travel within North America.

As the IT Hardware and Support Manager, you will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and support of our organization’s IT hardware. You will lead a team of IT technicians and support staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the hardware infrastructure aligns with business goals and operational needs. This role will report to the Director of IT

Key Responsibilities

Manage the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle of IT hardware, including computers, servers, printers, networking equipment, mobile scanners, and peripherals.

Supervise and lead the IT support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of hardware-related issues.

Supervise and lead IT technicians, providing mentorship and support to enhance team performance.

Develop and implement hardware policies and procedures to optimize performance and security.

Monitor hardware inventory and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and warranties.

Plan and execute hardware upgrades, replacements, and integrations with minimal disruption to operations.

Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving complex hardware issues.

Manage desktop support services, including troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues related to desktop hardware and peripherals.

Oversee software support processes, including installation, updates, and licensing compliance for business-critical applications.

Manage IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs), ensuring their services align with organizational needs and expectations.

Work with the Corporate IT Team to coordinate and implement global IT initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate IT standards and services.

Oversee the management of other physical and software systems, such as Service Management portals, security camera systems, and door access systems.

Collaborate with other departments to identify and fulfill IT hardware and software needs.

Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory hardware and software standards.

Track performance metrics and generate reports on hardware efficiency, desktop support performance, and software support services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in IT hardware management or technical support roles.

Strong technical knowledge of IT hardware systems, including PCs, servers, and networking devices.

Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with inventory and asset management tools.

Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.

Must posses a valid passport with no travel restrictions

Salary : $70,000-$80,000/annually

Wage varies pending on skillset/experience. Schedule: Monday to Friday
