WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a student in the IT Corporate Services role, you will actively contribute to the seamless operation of corporate IT functions. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks like assisting with software updates, providing technical support, and collaborating with the IT team to ensure the efficient functioning of digital services. Through this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic landscape of corporate IT services.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Developing and configuring software used by the Authority
  • Gathering, designing, developing, testing, and deployment activities related to the software development life cycle.
  • Working on the corporate website as well as the intranet and extranet of YYC
  • Working on a number of custom-built applications as well as SaaS products to add enhancements and provide bug fixes

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program related to IT, Networks, IT systems, Computer Sciences, or related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously; performs a wide variety of tasks, and change focus quickly as demands change; adapt to varying project needs.
  • Knowledge of IT and business processes required in support of enterprise infrastructure, software, and collaboration environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)

WHAT ELSE?

  • To qualify as a co-op or internship student, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary program where a work term is a formal requirement of the program and be able to provide documentation to that effect.
  • Please attach a copy of your transcript to your application.
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work model with a combination of onsite and remote work.
