In your role as IT Analyst II, SAP Commerce / Hybris, you will have a key hands-on role responsible for working closely with business and IT stakeholders to solicit, analyze, understand, and document business requirements. You will serve as an expert in Shure’s Digital Commerce solution to help turn business requirements into technical requirements. The analyst is responsible for assisting with physical design, functional configuration, user testing, and user training to ensure that end-to-end solutions are delivered with quality and that expectations are met for functionality, reliability, and availability. You will contribute to technical project management activities, help drive agile ceremonies, perform day-to-day problem analysis and resolution, and offer general analytical support across the organization. Additionally. you will participate in the development and help drive the adherence of relevant standards, guidelines, and procedures. The analyst serves as the main point of contact and functional expert for the digital commerce eco system and its respective capabilities. Stakeholder engagement will be key as you will also work with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences at different levels within the organization to share knowledge and complex ideas, provide updates and influence and challenge when necessary.
This role is Hybrid, based in Niles, IL. Remote candidates will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Support projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
- Assists in the overall design of commerce solutions as well as recommending best practice solutions based on business needs and latest proven business & technology trends.
- Coordinate with platform leads to complete impact assessments and cross-functional alignment
- Collaborate with global development teams to validate that solutions will meet business requirements
- Coordinate with integration team to determine solution impacts to SAP CPI and Boomi platforms
- Map requirements to functionality within SAP Commerce/Hybris and adjacent ecosystems
- Document the solution design with specific business and technical details, including but not limited to process flow diagrams, functional specs documentation, use cases, impact analysis and decision decks
- Align and collaborate closely with Product Owner(s) to prioritize enhancements based on business needs
- Drives the preparation of a clear set of fully documented refined features and user stories that are part of a well-balanced product backlog.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog and work with the team to co-ordinate sprint planning
- Determine acceptance criteria and write test cases for unit, end to end and user acceptance testing
- Assist the technical team in configuring the solutions on the commerce platform as needed.
- Execute unit and end-to-end integration testing of planned user stories to be delivered
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, reporting and defect prioritization with business leads
- Perform Change Management functions including documentation and administration of assigned release activity
- Provide system administration, data management, development, and technical support to end users in accordance with IT SLAs
- Perform knowledge transfer and training with team members and business wherever appropriate
- Adhere and contribute to internal processes, procedures and policies, as well as expanding internal knowledge on Commerce functionality used by the company
- Maintain awareness of new features and functionality delivered in SAP Commerce/Hybris releases and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experienced analyst working knowledge of SAP Commerce/Hybris or similar platform (Salesforce B2B/B2C Commerce Cloud, Magento, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience supporting Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, including requirements gathering, testing and release of Commerce solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, technical requirements and gap analysis
- Ability to synthesize information to form a feature or user story that’s aligned with the stated business objective(s)
- Able to work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data or situations requires review of identifiable factors
- Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Strong desire to be deemed a technical subject matter expert across multiple business applications which support a full end-to-end commerce experience

Preferred Experience and Skills
- Hybris Certification and/or full lifecycle implementation experience on the Hybris platform
- Working knowledge of the various Hybris Administrative Cockpits and the B2B/B2C Accelerators
- An understanding of Hybris data structures and hands-on experience in utilizing Impex scripting to load master data
- Experience in integrating Commerce technologies with third party platforms
- Experience with implementing and supporting a headless commerce architecture
- Experience working in Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud
- Familiarity with SAP ECC Sales and Distribution or S/4HANA Sales
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Experience with or a desire to learn other adjacent technologies
