IT Advisor, Technology Consulting – Digital and Emerging Technologies – Senior Engineer (Integration Architect) (Manager) (1498382), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Philadelphia, PA. 

 

Assist clients in optimizing enterprise integration by enabling interoperability and communication between multiple IT components. Lead the delivery of solution development for large complex projects. Understand business and user requirements and design integration architecture specifications that meet requirements from a business and technical perspective. Develop, test, deliver and maintain solutions that drive compliance with and contribute to the development of relevant standards. Lead the workgroup, ensuring appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools and responsibilities are in place.  Solve complex and escalated aspects of the project, performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process. Drive adherence to the relevant processes, procedures, standards, and technical design whilst supporting the definition, maintenance and implementation of technology standards.  Employ advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency, reliability and value from current solutions. Identify and implement continuous improvement plans.  Develop strong working relationships with peers across Development & Engineering and Architecture teams, collaborating to develop and engineer leading solutions.

 

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.  Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.  Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or Mathematics or related field of study and 5 years of related progressive post bachelor’s experience or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or Mathematics or related field of study and 4 years of related experience.

 

Must have 4 years of professional services or consulting experience.

 

Must have 4 years of experience designing and developing integration architecture using a combination in 3 of the following:

  • IBM Datapower
  • IBM Message Broker/IIB/ACE 
  • IBM API Connect or IBM WebSphere MQ 
  • Dell Boomi 
  • Kafka 
  • Cloudpack for Integration

 

Must have 4 years of experience in installation, configuration and administration using a combination in 3 of the following: 

  • IBM API Connect 
  • Datapower 
  • MQ series 
  • Boomi 
  • Message Broker/IIB or ACE 

 

Must have 2 years of development experience using 3 of the following: 

  • ACE 
  • Kafka 
  • Boomi and Java based technologies 
  • Spring 
  • Springboot 
  • Microservices development
  • IBM API Connect or IBM WebSphere MQ 
  • IBM Datapower 

 

Must have two years of experience leading teams of Technology professionals.

 

Travel required up to 50% of the time.
