Overview: We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Inventory Specialist to manage inventory control processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle). Location: Based in Calgary, Alberta. Work Hours: Monday to Thursday (7 am to 4 pm), Friday (7 am to 1 pm). Compensation: $25 – $28 per hour Responsibilities: Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Returns and Allocations: Manage the return process for unneeded inventory and reallocate resources efficiently. ERP Utilization: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) to track inventory, generate reports, and optimize stock levels. Communication: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders via email correspondence. Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Problem-Solving: Address inventory-related challenges promptly and proactively. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent. Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control or supply chain management. ERP Experience: Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential. Certifications: Any certifications related to supply chain or inventory management are considered an asset.
