*Job Description:*
We are seeking an experienced Vinyl Plank/Hardwood Flooring Installer to handle residential and commercial flooring projects. This role involves installing vinyl plank flooring, ensuring it meets our high standards for quality and aesthetics.
*Responsibilities: *
- Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation.
- Accurately cut and fit vinyl planks to ensure a perfect fit.
- Install vinyl planks using appropriate adhesives, ensuring smooth seams and edges.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on existing vinyl flooring.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites.
- Follow safety protocols and use tools and equipment safely.
*Requirements: *
- Proven experience as a Vinyl Plank Installer or similar role.
- Understanding of different types of flooring and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience with other types of flooring (e.G., laminate, hardwood) is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
Additional pay:
* Overtime pay
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
* Hardwood Installation: 1 year (preferred)
* Vinyl Plank: 1 year (preferred)
