Duties
- Participate in the planning, organizing and supervision of census field operations for an assigned area.
- Train and supervise a team of supervisors and coordinate their activities and those of their employees.
- Participate in the monitoring, analysis and evaluation of field operations by reviewing activity reports.
- Authorize employees’ weekly payment, expenses and allowances.
- Monitor performance and productivity of staff and resolve collection, staff and pay issues.
- Promote respondent participation in the census and participate in the implementation of regional communication strategies.
- Respond to inquiries from the public.
- Collaborate with other census employees, including FOSs, AMPs, RCs and MAs to resolve collection, processing, and pay issues.
- Work closely with the REC and FOM to meet targets.

Essential qualifications
- Education: Secondary school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Experience managing a workload: Delegating multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Computer functions: Sending and receiving emails, using word processing, spreadsheet, and slide‑show applications, and creating virtual meeting invites.
- Large‑scale project experience: Working in a project with competing deadlines and conflicting priorities.
- Team supervision experience: Assigning work and managing performance.
Availability
Position status: AS-03 (Acting, Assignment, Deployment, Secondment, Specified period).
Salary: $73,798 to $79,511.
