Renowned for its innovative and sustainable approach to building design, the firm provides expertise in restoration, capital planning, structural, mechanical, building envelope, accessibility, and energy optimization services.</p><p>This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives at the intersection of engineering, sustainability, and innovation, and is eager to help create high-performance, energy-efficient buildings.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p> Reporting to the Project Principal, the Energy Modeler will be responsible for developing and analyzing building energy models for a range of new construction and retrofit projects across commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will help deliver integrated, data-driven, and sustainable design solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent English</li><li>Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in building energy modeling or performance analysis.</li><li>Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).</li><li>Proficiency in energy simulation software such as IES-VE, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, and RETScreen Expert.</li><li>Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.</li><li>A creative and curious mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.</li><li>Valid driving license and access to reliable transportation.</li></ul>
