About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a global leader in automated test systems and test fixture development used by the automotive, aerospace, medical, and advanced electronics industries. Their customers include some of the most innovative manufacturers in the world—EV charging systems, mobile devices, aerospace equipment, and more.
Due to internal advancement, we are hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of engineers and integrators across Burlington, Maple Grove, and Silicon Valley.
This is a role for someone who loves leadership and staying close to the technology.
Why This Role Matters
You’re not inheriting problems — you’re stepping into a department that is already producing, but needs a strong, technical leader to unlock the next level of scale and capability.
There is clear upward mobility, including succession paths into Director or cross-functional leadership.
What You’ll Lead + Own
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10–12 Electrical Engineers and Integrators
- Own electrical design + system integration for complex test systems
- Balance resources across multiple simultaneous projects (10–15 at any time)
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering groups
- Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders
- Implement tools, best practices, and process improvements
What You Bring
✅ Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
✅ 10+ years in electrical engineering + 3+ years managing engineers
✅ Experience with test systems / functional electrical test integration
✅ Strong communication + conflict resolution (empathetic but assertive)
✅ Ability to lead through shifting priorities and fast-moving deliverables
Nice to have:
- Aerospace / automotive / EV / medical device experience
- Experience with ISO 9001, NIST 800-171, or similar standards
