Alliance Engineering Services Inc. (AESI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (P.Eng) to join our Winnipeg office in a lead capacity. The Role

As Lead Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the design and coordination of electrical systems for a wide range of building projects. You will work closely with our mechanical and reality capture teams to deliver coordinated, high‑quality designs that align with client needs and project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects from concept through construction


• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates


• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success


• Mentor and support junior designers and technologists


• Conduct site visits and field reviews as required


• Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes and standards


• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Electrical Department

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering


• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Manitoba or eligible for registration


• Minimum 6+ years of experience in building electrical design


• Strong knowledge of lighting, power distribution, life safety, and low‑voltage systems


• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit


• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
