<p>About the Company</p><p>Our client is a software company. They are looking for a Director of Finance who will be responsible for lead the Finance team and be an integral member of the team that brings together the businesses sales, finance and technology needs. You will be responsible for optimizing our financial operations, supporting sales on a number of matters, and accelerating our deployment of technology to accelerate our business growth. You will ultimately be responsible for the presentation of financial matters to our C-Suite and parent company. </p><p>Why Work Here</p><ul><li><p>Opportunity to progress to head the Finance team  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Rapid revenue growth and scaling environment </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Exposure to systems integration, financial reporting, controlling, and cross-functional business partnering </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Dynamic and Collaborative work force  </p></li></ul><p>About the Opportunity</p><p>Financial Reporting (20%) </p><ul><li><p>Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to the parent company, adhering to group reporting timelines and formats. Co ordinate consolidation of local financials into group-level reporting packages. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare variance analyses and commentary for parent company review, highlighting key drivers and risks. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support parent company audits and respond to inquiries from group finance and external auditors. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure that the Company’s tax filings remain compliant.  </p></li></ul><p>Strategic Planning & Budgeting (20%) </p><ul><li><p>Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Present financial plans and performance updates to both local leadership and parent company stakeholders. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with the company’s finance teams on planning, scenario modelling and variance analysis. </p></li></ul><p>Finance Technology (20%) </p><ul><li><p>Work with CFO and IT department on continuously enhancing the IT infrastructure of the Company, allowing the company to leverage efficiencies to eliminate manual processes where possible. Oversee integration of financial systems and reporting tools with parent company platforms. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Continue to enhance the utilization of Datarails as the system of record for capturing data and formalizing month-end processes  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead the implementations scheduled for 2026 </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes to meet group requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support implementation of group-wide financial initiatives and reporting enhancements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Implement automation tools to automate revenue recognition and commission accounting. </p></li></ul><p>Payroll & Accounts Payable (15%) </p><ul><li><p>Oversee all aspects of payroll globally, for North America and Europe. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Train the Finance team to handle the majority of payroll preparation. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Design, analyze and implement any new commissions/bonus/compensation schemes required. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead various migrations </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Review systems used for payroll and advise on any enhancements. </p></li></ul><p>Accounts Receivable: (10%) </p><ul><li><p>Oversee Accounts Receivable process. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Work with the CRO and the team to resolve troubled deals. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Review requests for amendments to contracts by Sponsor clients and ensure that any amendments are made only within company guidelines. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop strategies to negotiate payment arrangement terms with customers to meet Company collection objectives </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage the invoicing process, working to increase the automation & efficiency </p></li></ul><p>Operations Finance (10%) </p><ul><li><p>Review major procurement contracts to ensure favorable commercial terms, and comparative analysis relative to previous contracts. Step in to negotiate with vendors when required in coordination with Operations. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Work with Operations, Marketing, Production, Recruitment and IT to prepare, review and manage Event and departmental budgets. </p></li></ul><p>Compliance & Controls (5%) </p><ul><li><p>Develop the SOX-compliant internal control framework.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with both local regulations and global company policies. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Implement and monitor financial governance frameworks as required by the parent organization. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure adherence to intercompany transaction policies and transfer pricing guidelines. </p></li></ul><p>About You</p><ul><li><p>7+ years financial reporting and financial analysis experience, including 3 + years in leadership </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>CPA Designation </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Previous systems / integration experience </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Small to Mid-size public company exposure required </p></li></ul><p>Salary Range</p><p>$150,000-155,000/year</p><p>How to Apply </p><p>Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
