Our client is hiring a Director of IT to join their remote team. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the security, scalability, and stability of the company infrastructure for their client work and to align IT practices with ISO
27001 standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the company’s Information Security division Develop and implement the IT and Security policies across the company through ongoing review, communication and training. Align IT practices with the information security commitments we have with our clients. Manage onboarding/offboarding of company equipment and user cloud accounts Design, build, and maintain a robust and scalable backend infrastructure using tools like AWS, GCP, Azure and Heroku for our clients. Qualifications and Experience
8+ years experience in an IT/IS-related role, startup/agency experience an asset Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards and experience aligning company IT practices with industry-standard security frameworks. Experience managing security for a work from home client environment. Proven-track record implementing and owning information security policies Strong interpersonal communication skills across a company whose team members have a varied range of technical familiarity.
