Your success is our success!<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Description:</p><p>As amodel technician you will be responsible for helping improve teeth and for replacing lost teeth. You will improve teeth for aesthetic reasons, and work to the prescription of a dentist to make bridges, crowns, and dentures.</p><p></p><p>General Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Disinfect contents</li></ul><ul><li>Pour models, label the models, pin & cut, rough trim the dies, articulate models</li></ul><ul><li>Pour denture models</li></ul><ul><li>Acid etch e.max</li></ul><ul><li>Barcode scan all completed work</li></ul><ul><li>Clear communication with team members</li></ul><ul><li>Keep workspace clean and organized</li></ul><ul><li>Report malfunctioning equipment</li></ul><p></p><p>Other duties:</p><ul><li>Retrieve crowns from sintering furnace and place on corresponding models/case pans</li></ul><ul><li>Prep zirconia: cut off sprues (pre-sintered)</li></ul><ul><li>Scan models in CAD</li></ul><ul><li>Duplicate models</li></ul><ul><li>Make thermoform stents and bleaching trays</li></ul><ul><li>Unpack/pack cases at receiving and shipping</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain department supplies and materials</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor plaster trap</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Certification as a Registered Dental Technician or equivalent education and experience</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in dental technology, CAD design experience a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Must possess proficient English skills, both written and verbal</li></ul><ul><li>Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner</li></ul><ul><li>Must have a thorough understanding of porcelain pressing technology, crown morphology, and crown and bridge case design</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work in fast-paced environment</li></ul></p></p>
