<p><h3>Data and Analytics Product Owner Consultant</h3><p>On behalf of our <b>Enterprise Client</b>, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a <b>Data and Analytics Product Owner Consultant</b> to join our Client's team on a <b>Contract</b> basis. This role is <b>Hybrid</b> and the Client is based in <b>Vancouver, BC</b>.</p>
<h3>Summary Of The Role</h3>
<p>The Data and Analytics Product Owner Consultant is responsible for leading business analysis and product ownership activities for complex enterprise data and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and managing business and technical requirements to support data warehouse, lakehouse, reporting, and analytics solutions. Acting as a senior advisor, the consultant works closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners to ensure solutions align with business objectives, are scalable, and are successfully delivered across the full project lifecycle.</p>
<h3>Duties & Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for large, complex data and analytics initiatives.</li>
<li>Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements using industry-standard artifacts.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support data migration, integrations, and system interfaces.</li>
<li>Facilitate workshops and working sessions with senior business and technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Provide oversight, coaching, and mentorship to other business analysts as required.</li>
<li>Support testing activities through the development of test plans, scenarios, and reports.</li>
<li>Assist project leadership with issue resolution, planning for future phases, and transition to sustainment teams.</li>
<li>Conduct impact assessments for scope or design changes and support change management activities.</li>
<li>Ensure solution designs align with future-state business processes and project objectives.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Core Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 7 years of end-to-end experience delivering enterprise data warehouse and BI solutions.</li>
<li>Minimum 7 years of experience with data engineering and reporting or analytics tools.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience supporting or leading data warehouse or lakehouse implementations.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies within complex enterprise environments.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Desired Skills & Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience working as a Product Owner or senior Business Analyst on data and analytics initiatives.</li>
<li>Experience with DevOps or Agile/SCRUM methodologies.</li>
<li>Background working with cross-functional technical and business teams.</li>
<li>Experience supporting testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.</li>
<li>Ability to contribute to process improvement and solution optimization initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Terms</h3>
<p>This is a 12-month contract role with a hybrid work arrangement in Vancouver. Hybrid scheduling details will be determined. The successful candidate will be required to complete reference and background checks prior to an offer being finalized.</p>
