<p><b>Cyber Security Specialist</b></p><p><b>Location Address: 888 Birchmount Rd Scarborough, ON</b></p><p><b>Hybrid: 3 days in-office (will increase to 4 days in future)</b></p><p><b>Anchor days: Flexible</b></p><p><b>Contract Duration: ASAP to 04/30/2026</b></p><p><b>Possibility of extension: yes</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Accountabilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop an integration architecture that aligns with SOAR platform capabilities (e.g., playbooks, connectors, API endpoints).</li><li>Ensure design supports scalability, high availability, and compliance with organizational security standards.</li><li>Map DLP alerts and incidents to SOAR event schemas for consistent handling.</li><li>Create custom docker images to collect logs from external services</li><li>Data enrichment using Neo4j graphing databases</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Must have skills:</b></p><p>1) 10+ years of relevant experience in Security</p><p>2) 3+ years of Python coding experience preferably within a SOAR Platform</p><p>3) DLP Technologies: Strong knowledge of leading DLP solutions (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview) and their APIs.</p><p>4) API Development: Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and webhooks for building connectors and integrations.</p><p>5) Ability to design scalable integration architectures.</p><p>6) Knowledge of secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, token-based access) and encryption standards.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Nice to have:</b></p><ul><li>Experience with Palo Alto Cortex SOAR</li><li>Experience with container development and deployment</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)</li><li>Experience with implementing Machine Learning and AI algorithms</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Soft Skills Required:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to build strong cross-functional business relationships.</li><li>Advanced problem-solving skills to deal with complex operational issues, across functions</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree (University Degree)</li></ul>
