<p>As a Corporate Security Guard, there is a high focus on desk duties, scheduled patrolling and customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a high profile corporate environment.</p>

<h3>Responsibilities for Corporate Security Guard</h3>
<ul>
<li>Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification, issue and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.</li>
<li>Control access at entry and exit points using electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.</li>
<li>Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.</li>
<li>Monitor and document all security systems and CCTV for suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.</li>
<li>Inspect and report maintenance needs related to security equipment and facility infrastructure.</li>
<li>Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.</li>
<li>Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.</li>
<li>Protect client assets against theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.</li>
<li>Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.</li>
<li>Foster positive staff relationships and act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications for Corporate Security Guard</h3>
<ul>
<li>First aid certification an asset</li>
<li>Proficient in basic phone & computer skills</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset)</li>
<li>Leadership and problem‑solving skills
</li><li>Ability to work in a stressful environment</li>
</ul>
