Job Summary
The City of Mississauga is seeking a Project Coordinator, IT M365 position to support the migration, implementation and adoption of various Microsoft 365 projects. Reporting to the Program Manager, IT M365, the successful candidate will provide project management, planning and administrative support, including developing project charters and documentation and creating communications for sponsors, stakeholders, staff, consultants and contractors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud migration and implementation projects.
- Research and develop project charter, come up with solutions to resolve issues/problems and establish schedule.
- Provide direction to stakeholders and user groups and consultants during design, development, communication stages, including presentations, facilitate meetings, etc.
- Develop documentation, internal support agreements, etc. and obtain signatures.
- Coordinate delivery of services from different areas of expertise.
- Act as liaison between clients, contractors and consultants to avoid conflicts.
- Solicit, evaluate and award quotations from contractors and consultants.
- Ensure all legislated service standard requirements are maintained throughout project.
- Assess and document specifications, requirements and prioritize.
- Maintain accurate records of all legal documents, payments, change orders and authorizations for release of payments.
- Provide technical guidance, implement training for delivery of related project, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Highly organized with strong time management.
- Certified technologist, PMP and/or Lean certification
- 5 years experience in Information Technology and project management.
- Microsoft Office software
- Hybrid environment
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 41.93 – $ 55.91
