Job Duties: Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure proper setup before directing concrete placement according to required grade. Smooth freshly poured concrete by filling low spots and removing high points. Use hand tools and equipment to remove excess concrete, fill voids and achieve a smooth, uniform finish. Operate mechanical vibrators to consolidate concrete, eliminate air pockets and enhance overall strength. Apply textures based on client specifications or design plans. Accurately install anchor bolts, inserts, brackets and other embedded components in fresh concrete before it sets. Conduct waterproofing and damp-proofing treatments in accordance with project requirements to protect and preserve concrete surfaces. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to support efficient operations. Operate a variety of tools, including concrete saws and grinders, to cut, modify or finish concrete components.
