Account Manager - Commercial Lines (Transportation Focus)

My client is looking for a proactive, client-focused Account Manager to join their team, specializing in the Transportation sector. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting their growth by ensuring clients receive top-tier service every day.
Location: Hamilton (Hybrid, 3 days in the office after training)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day servicing of your client portfolio
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance and policy documents, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Process MVRs, driver abstracts, CVOR checks, and related documentation
- Assist in preparing binders, form letters, and other client communications
- Handle invoices and maintain accurate client records
- Review clients' coverage, exposures, and loss experience to identify risk management needs
- Support Customer Service Brokers or Producers with inquiries or urgent requests
- Maintain strong knowledge of client needs and ensure excellent communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues
- Promptly address questions or concerns regarding policies, coverage, and premiums
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience in Commercial Lines, either with a brokerage or insurance company preferred
- Active R.I.B.O license
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (college or university)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
