| Position Summary: | Assist UDRI Employees to apply information technologies effectively to carry out their research and administrative activities. Supports and directs the work of student employees. Assembles, configures, installs, troubleshoots and maintains desktop PC’s, servers and related network equipment. Perform IT Help Desk functions. |

| Minimum Qualifications: |
Four year technical degree or 6 years of directly related IT Help Desk experience. CompTia A+ certification at a minimum. Ability to monitor and maintain computers and servers utilizing technologies including Symantec Endpoint Protection. Manage and configure Outlook and Microsoft Operating systems. Ability to perform basic system and user administration tasks for Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and other server software. Ability to troubleshoot, assemble, repair and configure Intel based workstations, servers and peripheral equipment. Ability to manage and troubleshoot networking related issues. Strong written and oral communication skills. Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required. A valid drivers license and low risk driving record is required to be insurable by the University. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Familiarity with Portal technologies. Manage DHCP and DNS servers, routing and firewall protection. Manage and configure Microsoft Exchange server, |
