Please send your resume to info@akhlutauto.ca or stop in at 1445 Sidney St W.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Following company-created checklists to inspect and test vehicles.</li><li>Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs</li><li>Learn and apply proper safety protocols and procedures</li><li>Performing standard mechanical repairs</li><li>Learning repair techniques under the supervision of the mechanic.</li><li>Testing vehicles before and after repair procedures.</li><li>Maintaining the workshop and customer areas and keeping inventory areas well-organized.</li><li>Taking engines and other car parts apart to perform inspections.</li><li>Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li><li>Y2, Y3, Y4 status card</li><li>Enrolled in or completed a recognized automotive service technician apprenticeship program</li><li>Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and be familiar with both manual and automatic transmission types.</li><li>Strong understanding of mechanics.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Good analytical skills.</li><li>Physical fitness and stamina to stoop, crawl, work laying down, and lift heavy machinery.</li></ul></p>
