<p>What does the LOB do: Team supports the HR business through various Vendor SaaS applications which includes maintaining the data integration between systems.</p>
<p>Reason the role is open: Backfill</p>
<p>What project will this contractor be working on: Current project to migrate existing Infomatica workflow to Azure Databricks</p>
<p>Target Start Date: Dec 15th</p>
<p>Duration: 6 months</p>
<p>Potential for this contract to be extended or converted to FTE? Extension: Yes</p>
<p>Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid – 5 days per month (every Tuesday & second Friday) Office Location: 81 Bay st.</p>
<p>Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 9 to 5 - 37.5 hour Potential for OT? No OT</p>

<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>You’ll be joining CIBC’s HR Technology Team, which supports HR business operations through various vendor SaaS applications. The team ensures seamless data integration between systems and delivers enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back‑end systems and SaaS integrations.</p>
<h3>Design & Development</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and coordinate advanced application programming activities.</li>
<li>Architect technical infrastructure using databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing frameworks.</li>
<li>Deliver cost‑effective, scalable, and innovative solutions that enhance user experience.</li>
<li>Perform and coordinate complex programming with SQL and Python scripting.</li>
<li>Design technical integrations using FTPS deployment and PGP encryption.</li>
<li>Develop and support current Informatica ETL processes.</li>
<li>Support SaaS integrations (SSO deployment, file integrations with 3rd‑party vendors).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Leadership & Collaboration</h3>
<ul>
<li>Conduct code reviews, and ensure project alignment.</li>
<li>Mentor intermediate and senior developers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Application Support</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide problem resolution during business hours for supported applications.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Must Have Requirement</h3>
<h3>Must have Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of hands‑on experience in Informatica Development.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience with Oracle and SQL (data extraction and batch processing).</li>
<li>5+ years of Unix Scripting (file movement and extract generation).</li>
<li>5+ years of experience with Autosys (job scheduling).</li>
<li>2+ Years Data Bricks experience.</li>
<li>Experience with Azure Cloud technologies.</li>
</ul>
<p>Best VS. Average: Strong experience with Informatica, Autosys, and Azure is highly valued.</p>
<p>ETL expertise, particularly with Informatica, is a critical requirement and prioritized over banking industry experience.</p>
