<p>Part-Time Educators (Math, Writing, Problem Solving)<br><br>JEI Learning Center – Richmond Hill (Leslie & Elgin Mills + Yonge & Jefferson)</p><p>Availability Requirements – Please Read Carefully<br><br>Priority will be given to candidates who can commit year-round<br><br>Must be available:</p><ul><li>Multiple weeknights (2:00–7:00 PM)</li><li>Saturdays (10:00 AM–1:00 PM)</li><li>Both school year (Sept–June) and summer (July–Aug)</li></ul><p>Local candidates only<br><br>Include your availability in your application</p><p>About the Role<br><br>We're looking for educators who can confidently teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 9 in:</p><ul><li>Writing</li><li>Math</li><li>Problem-Solving Math</li><li>Assist with general homework and support</li></ul><p>You'll work in small group settings (1:10–15 ratio) and occasionally one-on-one. Average 15–25 hours/week during the school year, with additional hours available during summer and camps.</p><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Strong subject knowledge in Math and Writing (up to Grade 9)</li><li>Confident classroom management and communication skills</li><li>Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic personality</li><li>Experience with children or teaching is a strong asset</li><li>Must provide a clear police background check</li></ul><p>TO APPLY:<br><br>Submit your resume and include your availability.<br><br>Do NOT call the center.</p><p>Job Types: Part-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: From $18.00 per hour</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>After-School & Camp Counsellors: 1 year (preferred)</li><li>teaching: 1 year (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
