<p><h3>Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist</h3>
<p>Base pay range: CA$55,000.00/yr - CA$60,000.00/yr</p>
<p>Our client, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is looking for an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join their team in New Market Ontario.</p>
<p>This position is a full‑time, on‑location 5 days/week role with a base salary of $55,000–$60,000 per year.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and customers</li>
<li>Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and update customer files</li>
<li>Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.</li>
<li>Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Review past‑due accounts and follow‑up with customers</li>
<li>Support month‑end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reports.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.</li>
<li>Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for easy retrieval.</li>
<li>Answer, investigate, and escalate as necessary, customer and vendor inquiries</li>
</ul>
<h3>Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>A post‑secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.</li>
<li>2–3 years general accounting experience, with a heavy focus on AP/AR.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of Canadian GAAP.</li>
<li>Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, specifically with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas and functions).</li>
<li>Epicor or related ERP experience.</li>
