What is in it for you:

• Salaried: $50-54 per hour.

• Incorporated Business Rate: $60-64 per hour.

• 8-month contract.

• Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and evaluate design system components and patterns for accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA, AODA).

• Define accessibility standards and contribute to system-wide guidelines, documentation, and tooling.

• Partner with designers, engineers, and QA teams to implement accessible components across web and mobile platforms, including React and React Mobile frameworks.

• Conduct accessibility reviews during the design, development, and release cycles of system components.

• Support inclusive design practices across content, interaction, and visual design contributions.

• Collaborate with global accessibility, compliance, and legal teams to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

• Deliver accessibility training, workshops, and office hours to product and design teams.

• Promote use of assistive technology testing, automated testing tools (e.g., axe, Lighthouse), and manual testing practices (screen readers, keyboard navigation, color contrast).

• Contribute to and support a community of practice focused on accessibility within the broader product development organization.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a related field preferred.

• IAAP CPACC, WAS, or CPWA certification, or equivalent accessibility credential.

• Familiarity with accessibility requirements in design systems and component libraries (e.g., React, React Mobile frameworks).

• Proficiency with Figma, Storybook, and design system tooling.

• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe, VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to translate technical accessibility requirements into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.
