The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical aspects of equipment and components according to defined specifications. COME JOIN OUR TEAM! </p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><br />Perform preventative maintenance on fleet</li><li><br />Carrying out diagnostic tests and repairs to a variety of vehicles and equipment using modern maintenance practices</li><li><br />Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs of construction equipment</li><li><br />Ensures all Workplace Safety</li><li><br />Environmental and National Safety Code Policies and Regulations</li></ul><ul><li>Read <span >diagrams/schematics</span> and manufacturers repair manuals for work procedures</li><li>Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain various other large construction equipment according to the maintenance schedule</li><li>Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair including computer <span >connection/diagnosis</span> with a machine to identify fault codes</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work as required</li></ul><p></p><p>A day in the life</p><ul><li>Assist with equipment inspections, safety talks and helping ensure proper procedures are followed.</li><li>Assist with job preparation and set up.</li><li>Work with other mechanics and other various equipment on site.</li><li>Work with other mechanics to do regular maintenance and repairs.</li><li>May perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Must have successfully completed 2yr.
