Must haves:
- 6-8+ years of experience in Java backend development with a focus on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
- Expertise in Java Cloud Services.
- Strong experience with APIs and Microservices development.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks and tools including SpringBoot, SpringData, JPA, Struts, JSP, EJB, SOAP, REST, and Log4J.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Ability to create workflows for compiling and deploying microservices on GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
- General knowledge of Google Cloud technologies such as Secrets, SecretManager, VMs, Workloads, port forwarding, containers, Kubernetes, and PODs.
- Experience with Oracle databases and PLSQL.
- Understanding of software architecture principles.
