Senior Technical Business/Data Analyst Location Address: Hybrid – Toronto – 1 to 2 days/week in office Wednesday, Thursday in office, need candidates in GTA Contract Duration: 01/17/2025 to 10/17/2026 with Possibility of extension: Depends on project needs Project Client Analytics Reporting Reason for request New Project – New Hire Candidate Value Proposition The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various systems and work with big data where camaraderie is as essential as technical expertise. Working on high visibility products and building experience with data analytics software. Opportunity to work with various stakeholders (senior level, and subject matter experts) across departments. Must Have Skills • 8 years of experience working in a similar capacity as a BA/BSA • Recent project experience writing intermediate to advanced queries using SQL. • 3 years’ finance/accounting background (experience with revenue reporting and P&L) Nice-To-Have Skills • Power BI is a strong asset. • Fluency in Spanish • Experience with automated testing. • Agile/Scrum methodology understanding / worked in an Agile environment Best vs Average The ideal candidate would be a natural problem-solver who is proactive in data analysis and producing solutions. Ability to work effectively with relational databases and Power BI along with financial acumen is a key to success in this role. • Financial courses or certification completion is an asset. • Prior courses taken in Mathematics (statistical analysis and discreet mathematics) Candidate Review & Selection 2 rounds – MS Teams Video Interviews – option to come into office for interview – for virtual need to be on video and share screen for Codility Assessment. • 1st – 30 minutes – Behavioral / get to know you panel interviews– with Hiring Manager, Application Specialist • 2nd – 1 hour – technical panel interview – including Codility Assessment – with Hiring Manager, Application Specialist, Technical Business Analyst • Potential final/ third round if needed.
