Overview:

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s information technology operations, ensuring that IT systems support the business’s objectives efficiently and securely. This role involves developing and implementing IT strategies, managing a team of IT professionals, and ensuring optimal performance of all systems, networks, and infrastructure. The IT Manager will also work closely with various departments to provide technological solutions that improve productivity and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and help desk personnel.
    • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations.
  • IT Operations:
    • Oversee the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and availability.
    • Monitor system performance and security to identify potential issues and resolve them proactively.
    • Manage and support enterprise software applications, ensuring they are up to date and optimized.
  • Network & Systems Management:
    • Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the company’s IT network, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
    • Oversee data backups, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols to protect company data and assets.
  • Vendor Management & Procurement:
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of IT services and hardware.
    • Oversee purchasing of IT equipment and software, staying within budgetary guidelines.
  • IT Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Assist in the formulation of IT strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals.
    • Lead projects related to IT system upgrades, cloud solutions, and security improvements.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Evaluate and propose investments in new technologies that improve efficiency and align with company objectives.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations regarding data security and privacy.
    • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard systems from internal and external threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Experience with managing cybersecurity protocols and disaster recovery plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Certification such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP (preferred).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and security.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.

Benefits

Base salary: $100,00 – $150,000
