Position Summary

STERIS is growing and with that comes new opportunities for Information Technology professionals. The Business Relationship Manager for Supply Chain and Manufacturing will work closely with the IT and Business leadership teams for multiple manufacturing groups.  You will partner with the teams to plan, design and implement efficient business and systems solutions for manufacturing and supply chain operations. Your focus will include manufacturing processes from raw materials to finished goods. The IT and Advanced Technology Solutions that you propose may result in adoption throughout the organization, contributing to the growth of enterprise solutions.   

*This position is located onsite in Mentor, Ohio with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. 


Duties

•    Utilizes research and client contact to evaluate and develop technology solutions that are suited to the current and future needs of Global Commercial (Sales, Service, Marketing, Customer Ops, Commercial Ops) Operations division.
•    Communicates decisions, priorities, and relevant information to appropriate level of IT staff regarding business requests and projects.
•    Facilitates frequent IT planning and strategy sessions with division leadership and STERIS shared IT services insuring priorities are aligned.
•    Participates in all Global Commercial Operations business planning and update sessions 
•    Coordinates changes for all business requirements with IT.
•    Establishes IT service level agreement with the business leadership and monitor services are maintained.
•    Acts as the primary point of contact to IT business partners to link business strategies to IT priorities.  
•    Identify and prioritize key IT initiatives to support business strategies and objectives. 
•    Manages new initiatives as solution consultant & technology decision maker. 
•    Primary point of contact for all new requests from all LS Commercial Operations division when they arise. 
•    Recommends, drives new projects through demand planning ideation stage and delivers IT initiatives.


Required Experience

•    Bachelor’s Degree required with 12 years of related IT experience.
•    Must have extensive understanding and experience with Manufacturing processes, order management, and supply chain for this position
•    Broad knowledge of information technology capabilities and characteristics, software languages and applications, data base technology, communications hardware/software, standards and procedures and data security techniques
•    Project Management experience with agile project management methodologies
•    Experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
•    Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to new environments, and function within a team
•    Experience with Digital, Mobile, eCommerce, CRM solution platform and one of the BI tools is required 
•    Ability to solve complex problems or improve existing processes is required. 
•    Proven experience working directly with business partners, external customers and senior leadership
•    Ability to travel up to 30% domestically
