Staff DevOps Engineer We are seeking a fully remote Staff DevOps Engineer a Series B RiskOps scale-up building AI into underwriting predictions, extracting data from hundreds of sources to revolutionise the underwriting process. The team are well funded, $40m across two rounds, and already have 7 digit recurring revenue. The platform is used by some of the largest commercial insurance providers globally, and the teams challenge is running as-a-service infrastructure at scale providing real-time insights. The engineering team has come from both FAANG backgrounds and early stage scale ups working on complex infrastructure challenges. You’d join them to build out and maintain their GCP (the team are using some of the latest Google Cloud AI capabilities) and Kubernetes based infrastructure, and as a relatively small group, will have a broad role covering cloud security, observability, and process improvements. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with the following: Experience managing cloud environment (GCP preferred) Experience with Infrastructure as code using Terraform Containerization experience with Docker or Kubernetes Knowledge of Kafka, including setup and management in building and setting up observability and monitoring tools Staff DevOps Engineer Package: Up to CAD $220,000 bonus, stock, healthcare and unlimited PTO Location: Fully remote from anywhere in Canada
